The Lake Highlands Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the host DeSoto Eagles to 44 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 33-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaumont United for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. Lake Highlands will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 70-68 non-league win over Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 36-1.
