March 10, 2023: Hutchinson, KS 67501 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS) and the host Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS), saw Kapaun Mt. Carmel's basketball squad wallop Hutchinson by a tally of 71-50.
With the victory, Kapaun Mt. Carmel improves its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Andover (Andover, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. Andover won 55-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland Park (Topeka, KS)
Next up, the Salthawks play the Highland Park Scots (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 11. Hutchinson will attempt to improve on its 22-2 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 23-1 record after their 55-54 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, KS).
