The Villa Maria Academy Hurricanes basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Scranton Knights to 32 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Wood for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 15. Villa Maria Academy will meet a Vikings team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 21-5.
