March 10, 2023: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Royal Knights confront the McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Elite Scholars Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA).
The Eagles now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Towers for a 2A Area 5 challenge on Friday, March 17. Columbia will confront a Titans team coming off a 4-3 league win over Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Titans record now stands at 6-1.
