South Carolina High School Soccer - Travelers Rest knocks off Pickens
March 10, 2023: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Devildogs confront the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Travelers Rest will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Centurions enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Union County (Union, SC).
The Blue Flame now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwood for a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Pickens will confront a Eagles team coming off a 0-0 non-league Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
