Texas High School Softball - Denver City bounces Estacado
March 10, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79403 The Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) softball routed the host Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), 24-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region I District 3 bout with a 11-5 record.
The Matadors now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Borden County for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 16. Estacado will confront a Coyotes squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-1.
