The Bulldogs now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Hooks for a 3A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, March 14. Queen City will face a Hornets squad coming off a 20-5 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Hughes Springs moves to 9-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Carthage (Carthage, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, March 13.
