March 10, 2025: Matthews, NC 28104 Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Weddington moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Charlotte Country Day School won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC)
The Nighthawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Williams for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12.
