Georgia High School Soccer - River Ridge nudges Pope
March 10, 2025: Woodstock, GA 30188 Fans at Monday's league battle between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), saw River Ridge's soccer squad hold off Pope by a score of 1-0.
The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Creekview (Canton, GA). The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Creekview Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA), 1-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a battle, on Monday, March 17. Pope will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
