In Monday's non-league test, the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) lacrosse team edged the host Norco Cougars (Norco, CA), by a count of 4-3.

Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA) in a SoWest test, on Wednesday, March 19. Murrieta Valley will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.

The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Corona (Corona, CA). The Panthers enter the Big VIII test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, Corona got by Chaparral (Temecula, CA), 9-8, in a non-league test.
