In Monday's non-league match, the host Globe Tigers softball team scored a nice 14-5 victory over the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Catalina (Tucson, AZ). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Catalina was routed by Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ), 18-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 13. Blue Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 4-4 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ).
