In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Central Catholic Buttons baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the United Longhorns.

The Buttons (12-7) will now prepare for their game against Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Alexander defeated Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX), 12-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Longhorns face the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 11. United will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 14-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX).
