In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Dawson Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Meridian Yellowjackets.

The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Coolidge (Coolidge, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A Region II District 16 match with a 0-0 record.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abbott for a non-league match on Friday, March 13. Meridian will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Snook (Snook, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
