In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) baseball team trounced the host Wiregrass Ranch Bulls (Wesley Chapel, FL), by a count of 14-1.

The Mustangs now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host George Jenkins for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 12. Mitchell will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-4 league win over Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.

With the defeat, Wiregrass Ranch drops to 3-6 on the year. The Bulls travel to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL) to clash with the Seahawks in a 6A District 9 challenge on Thursday, March 12. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Sunlake lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL)
