The Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX) softball routed the visiting Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX), 10-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Sabine for a 2A Region III District 24 outing on Friday, March 13. Hemphill will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 12-2 league win over Brookeland (Brookeland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Pollok Central moves to 6-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Woden (Woden, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 11. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 7-3.
