March 11, 2022: La Puente, CA 91746 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) and the host Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA), saw La Canada's volleyball squad beat Bishop Amat by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, La Canada upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Rio Hondo bout on Wednesday, March 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Monrovia won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Temple City (Temple City, CA)
The Lancers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Cathedral for a Del Rey test on Tuesday, March 15. Bishop Amat will confront a Phantoms team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Francis (La Canada, CA). The Phantoms record now stands at 2-1.
