California High School Volleyball - Long Beach Poly can't hold off Venice
March 11, 2022: Long Beach, CA 90813 In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Venice Gondoliers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits.
The Gondoliers (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins come into the Western battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Palisades was edged by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 1-0, in a non-league match.
With the loss, Long Beach Poly drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits host Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, March 11. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 0-3.
