March 11, 2022: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) and the visiting Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), saw Cherokee Bluff's soccer squad knock off Jackson County by a margin of 5-2.
The Bears now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host North Hall for a AAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 15. Cherokee Bluff will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Jackson County drops to 8-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-2. Eastside lost 6-2 in their recent league test against Greenbrier (Evans, GA)
