Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - McDonogh drops to Gonzaga
March 11, 2022: Washington, DC 20001 Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 11-7 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Landon for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 15. Gonzaga will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Jupiter Warriors (Jupiter, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 14. McDonogh will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL).
