The crowd at Friday's non-league game between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC), saw Pinecrest's lacrosse team nudge Heritage by a margin of 9-8.

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Cape Fear edged Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 8-7, in a league game.

The Huskies (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Storm enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record.
