The Valley Vikings the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles softball squad by a count of 5-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Manzano by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cibola for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 16. Eldorado will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
