California High School Softball - Norco bounces Rio Rancho
March 11, 2022: Norco, CA 92860 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) and the visiting Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), witnessed Norco's softball squad prevail over Rio Rancho by a count of 12-0.
The Cougars now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pacifica for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. Norco will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Mariners record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Rio Rancho moves to 2-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Cienega (Vail, AZ) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league match on Friday, March 11. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 3-3. Cienega lost 20-6 in their recent non-league match against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)
