March 11, 2023: Harleton, TX 75651 The Quitman Bulldogs baseball team (Quitman, TX), was overwhelmed 13-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX)
The Wildcats now hold a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hawkins for a 2A Region III District 19 outing on Tuesday, March 14. Harleton will face a Hawks team coming off a 10-8 league win over Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 outing, on Wednesday, March 15. Quitman will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Red Devils enter the outing with a 1-6 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mineola (Mineola, TX).
