St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws (Bay St. Louis, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS), 9-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Stanislaus upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Rock-a-Chaws travel to Perry Central (New Augusta, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-5. Perry Central won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Lamar Christian (Purvis, MS)

With the defeat, Picayune falls to 6-7 on the season. The Maroon tide travel to East Central (Moss Point, MS) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 14. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 7-5. East Central lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS)
