March 11, 2023: Albany, CA 94706 The Oakland Wildcats held off the host Albany Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. Oakland will confront a Ugly Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their test against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Gauchos enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, El Cerrito held off De Anza (El Sobrante, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
