March 11, 2023: Zebulon, NC 27597 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the DASH United (Zebulon, NC) and the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), saw DASH's soccer squad knock off Smithfield-Selma by a count of 4-1.
The United now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Ravenscroft for a non-league test on Friday, March 17. DASH will meet a Ravens squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Smithfield-Selma drops to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to meet the Trojans in a Quad County 3A test on Tuesday, March 14. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-3. South Johnston lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Triton (Erwin, NC)
