Georgia High School Baseball - Morrow wallops Mt. Zion
March 11, 2023: Morrow, GA 30294 Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), 19-4 in a league test.
With the win, Morrow upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Newton (Covington, GA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. The Rams come into the test with a record of 6-3.
With the defeat, Mt. Zion falls to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, March 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Lovejoy lost 11-10 in their recent league test against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA)
