The Crawford Pirates the host Grandview Zebras softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region II District 13 battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Bruceville-Eddy nudged Moody (Moody, TX), 14-3, in a league battle.

The Zebras now sport a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Aubrey for a non-league battle on Monday, March 13. Grandview will meet a Chaparrals squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Krum (Krum, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 16-4.
