Louisiana High School Softball - Doyle bounces St. James
March 11, 2023: St. James, LA 70090 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) and the host St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), witnessed Doyle's softball squad prevail over St. James by a count of 16-6.
The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Iota for a non-league match on Saturday, March 11. Doyle will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, St. James moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats host South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA) to meet the Gators in a non-league match on Monday, April 3. The Gators go into the match with a record of 0-0.
