Alabama High School Softball - Opelika bounces Russell County
March 11, 2023: Seale, AL 36875 Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a 7A Area 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Opelika will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Russell County falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Opelika (Opelika, AL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-9.
