California High School Baseball - East Valley holds off Hollywood

March 11, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90028

East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hollywood Sheiks (Los Angeles, CA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons host Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13. The Titans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Community Charter won 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Jordan (Los Angeles, CA)

With the defeat, Hollywood falls to 2-3 on the season. The Sheiks host Roybal (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Titans in a Central battle on Friday, March 15. The Titans enter the battle with a record of 4-2. Roybal won 16-1 in their recent league battle against Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA)
