March 11, 2024: Agua Dulce, TX 78330 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Agua Dulce Longhorns (Agua Dulce, TX) and the visiting John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Agua Dulce's softball squad nip John Paul II by a count of 8-4.
The Longhorns now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Kaufer for a 2A Region IV District 32 match on Thursday, March 14. Agua Dulce will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Odem (Odem, TX). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, John Paul II falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Centurions host John Paul II (New Braunfels, TX) to face the Guardians in a TAPPS Division III District 4 match on Tuesday, March 19.
