In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Hamden Hall Country Day Hornets (Hamden, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), by a tally of 11-1.

Next up, the Hornets encounter the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 12. Hamden Hall Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bengals enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).

The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs enter the Southwest Wake 4A bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Middle Creek overcame Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 3-2, in a league bout.
