The New Hope Indians baseball squad (New Hope, AL), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL)

With the triumph, Austin moves its record to 7-8 on the season. The Black Bears travel to Gallatin (Gallatin, TN) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 12. The Green Wave come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Gallatin won 16-2 in their recent non-league contest against Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN)

The Indians now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. New Hope will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.
