The East Union Urchins baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Hancock Hawks to 5 in the Urchins non-league win on Tuesday.

The Urchins now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Madison-Ridgeland Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. East Union will play a Patriots team coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Hancock drops to 6-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 7-3. Oak Forest Academy won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS)
