Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), 8-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Pope John Paul II advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS) to battle the Hawks in a non-league match on Thursday, March 13. The Hawks come into the match with a record of 9-1. Hartfield Academy won 13-2 in their recent non-league match against Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS)

The Panthers now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Warren Central for a non-league game on Friday, March 14. Pascagoula will play a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.
