Iowa High School Basketball - Union trounced by West Lyon
March 11, 2025: La Porte City, IA 50651 West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Union Knights (La Porte City, IA), 81-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Lyon advances its record to 23-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, March 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 22-4. Unity Christian won 48-46 in their recent non-league match against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA)
The Knights now own a 17-10 record.
