March 11, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27405 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), saw Page's soccer squad knock off Bishop McGuinness by a count of 4-2.
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Oak Grove tipped Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Villains battle the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 14. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
