Georgia High School Soccer - Dalton knocks off Cartersville
March 11, 2025: Cartersville, GA 30120 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Dalton Catamounts soccer squad scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Cartersville Hurricanes.
The Catamounts (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders go into the 4A Region 7 outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Southeast Whitfield County was overwhelmed by Allatoona (Acworth, GA), 5-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) in a 4A Region 7 outing, on Friday, March 14. Cartersville will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Hiram (Hiram, GA).
