North Carolina High School Soccer - Jordan-Matthews toppled by Montgomery Central
March 11, 2025: Siler City, NC 27344 Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Montgomery Central moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. The Comets come into the test with a record of 1-3. North Stanly lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
The Jets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Alamance for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A test on Friday, March 14. Jordan-Matthews will clash with a Stallions team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-4.
