California High School Lacrosse - Mater Dei can't hold off La Costa Canyon
March 11, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92009 The Mater Dei Monarchs lacrosse team (Santa Ana, CA), was tipped 12-11 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA)
With the victory, La Costa Canyon advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mavericks host Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Bruins come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Cherry Creek won 13-8 in their recent non-league battle against Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO)
The Monarchs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foothill for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Mater Dei will encounter a Knights team coming off a 17-4 league win over Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.
