The Monahans Loboes softball team scored 7 runs and held the host San Angelo Central Bobcats to 3 in the Loboes non-league win on Tuesday.

The Loboes now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pecos for a 4A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, March 14. Monahans will confront a Eagles team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, San Angelo Central moves to 8-8 on the season. The Bobcats host Midland (Midland, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, March 21. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 19-2.
