St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders (Fort Lauderdale, FL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Southwest Ranches, FL), 10-9 in a non-league match.

The Raiders (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Coral Glades was nipped by Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL), 5-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 17.
