Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX), 11-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Wimberley improves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Texans travel to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) to face the Hawks in a 4A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, March 13. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 2-7. Canyon Lake lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Chaparral (Killeen, TX)

The Eagles now hold a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Devine for a 4A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, March 17. Pleasanton will play a Warhorses / Arabians squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Warhorses / Arabians record now stands at 14-8.
