Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) and the visiting Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), saw George Ranch's baseball squad knock off Seven Lakes by a count of 13-2.

Coming up next, the Longhorns play the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 battle, on Tuesday, March 16. George Ranch will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX).
