Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX), 9-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sharyland upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Rattlers travel to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, March 16. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-8. McAllen Memorial won 11-10 in their recent non-league test against Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX)

With the defeat, Roma falls to 3-10 on the season. The Gladiators host Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX) to battle the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Thursday, March 18. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 8-2.
