Texas High School Baseball - Anderson-Shiro gets by Gateway College Preparatory
March 12, 2022: Georgetown, TX 78626 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) and the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX), saw Anderson-Shiro's baseball squad knock off Gateway College Preparatory by a count of 4-2.
Coming up next, the Fighting Owls play the Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 battle, on Tuesday, March 15. Anderson-Shiro will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX).
The Gators now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salado for a 4A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, March 22.
