Georgia High School Baseball - Aquinas defeats Jefferson County
March 12, 2022: Augusta, GA 30904 Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Aquinas upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Fightin' Irish host Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to battle the Cavaliers in a A Private Region 3 test on Friday, March 25. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 10-8. Calvary Day won 8-6 in their recent league test against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA)
With the defeat, Jefferson County falls to 6-2 on the season. The Warriors host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to battle the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 14. The Golden Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-10. Washington County lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
