California High School Volleyball - Rio Americano over Placer
March 12, 2022: Auburn, CA 95603 Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 2-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley match, on Saturday, March 12. Rio Americano will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
With the loss, Placer drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Hillmen travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a Foothill Valley match on Tuesday, March 15. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 1-4. West Park lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against John Adams Academy (Roseville, CA)
