California High School Softball - Thousand Oaks holds off Buena
March 12, 2022: Ventura, CA 93003 Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newbury Park for a challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Thousand Oaks will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Buena falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Ventura (Ventura, CA) to face the Cougars in a challenge on Wednesday, March 16. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
